Urban composite
I've seen many photographers on various sites such as 500px or flickr crating composites like this so I decided to make my own.
Cloudless sky
My intend for this sunset was very different. I've planned to create some long exposure skys. When I left home weather was perfect; very windy with fast moving clouds. However when I've reached my destination everything became still and cloudless.
Auschwitz
Place where the bigest xenocide in human history had happened... I visit it last time I went to Poland. I left me feel uneasy.
Lazy
It's been lazy week for me. Not done much in terms of photography. Hopefully in coming long weekend I will get more willpower to create some images. All I have is this sunset photo taken from my block of flat.
Forgotten Station
New lightroom 6 just came out with very useful feature HDR what stand for high dynamic range. Basically you take few photos with different exposures and program combines them for you into one. I want to do some real word testing so I went on my little cycle trip to abandoned train station located nearby. It was quite creepy been there alone, taking photos but nothing happened and I got to live another day :)
There are many places like that around Manchester as it was industrial center back in a day. Now many old factories, quarries or tunnels are forgotten. I will try to explore more of them in near future but I may need someone with me next time... In case of drunken hobo or whatever evil may be out there.
Home studio portrats
Here I share two images of my friend Ania who visited Manchester last weekend. We had a lot of fun taking these as it was rainy Sunday evening with nothing better to do…
Gardens of TattonPark
Why do I need fresh air or scent of wakening to life nature at warm spring day? Why it feels so good to walk among blooming trees and flowers in beautiful TattonPark gardens area with great company of friends? However. Seating in front of computer, reading Reddit, watching a movie or playing with photoshop usually appealing to me very well. That's how I spend my free time. So why I always feel so delighted durring my time spend outdoors? Wether I'm hiking, cycling or walking around the parks. Does photography push me into it? That urge for image making sitting deep inside me... Or simply it is normal human need to discharged our troubled minds as if contact with nature would purify ourself like Amazon rainforest cleaning pollution and bring us an oxygen.
Here is few photos:
Shots from last 7 days
I've been slacking a lot recently in terms of my picture making. However I managed to snap few anyway.
Street
I always thought that street photography was nothing but randomly generated snapshots of passing people with occasional mixture of shadows and lights. Now I now how wrong I was. It not only takes quick thinking and fast reaction on ever moving city life but also focus and some bravery. You can't simply seat in bushes wearing your best camouflage clothes waiting for a bird to get in front your lens. No offence to bird photographers but come on guys, it's what you do or I'm missing something? For instance this guy. I understand commitment for the job etc but I'm not sure I get it entirely ;-)
But lets get back to subject of this blog post. Since we're talking about streets full of people who despite CCTV cameras pointing at them from every corner don't necessarily appreciate my lens at them and believe me I know what I'm talking about... The other day this guy threatened to stick my telephoto in to my bum if I don't imminently delete photo of him.
Street photography not only requires lots of focus, sense of composition, quick thinking/running but also courage and relentlessness. But enough writing with my broken English and lets take a look at my results.
