When I was shooting at this amazing location that day I stayed until late. However I could not see too many stars as light pollution from surrounding areas was too strong. Then I thought how nice this composition could have been if I could experience the darker sky. I decided to make it happen in Photoshop. Whenever I composite two or more images I always make sure every element is captured by myself. It was no different this time. Bottom part of the image is captured at Mam Tor in Peak District whilst milky way sky was taken in Tatra Mountains in Poland.
