Photographing Stretton Old Hall was a real pleasure, every corner blends historic character with modern elegance. Approached by a graceful Liquid Amber avenue, the Grade II listed home opens to light-filled interiors where oak beams, stonework, and panelled walls sit effortlessly alongside bespoke joinery, a cinema room, and a kitchen that flows seamlessly into the gardens.
The grounds are nothing short of spectacular, award-winning and full of personality. From manicured lawns lined with olive trees to the rill garden, sunken walled garden, and wildflower pond, each space offered a new photographic composition. Golden hour here was magical, with the warm light catching the textured hedges and reflecting off the still water.
With its charming Garden Cottage, extensive outbuildings, and sweeping views over the Cheshire countryside, Stretton Old Hall isn’t just a home, it’s a place where history, design, and landscape meet in perfect harmony.
