North Lindsey College (Net Zero Implementation)

Commissioned by BAM Construction to document the handover of the new £38m teaching block at North Lindsey College. The brief required a visual focus on the specialized vocational facilities and the architectural integration of the new “Net Zero Carbon in Operation” structure within the existing campus.

Architectural Focus & Visual Narrative The photography documents three key design pillars:

Interior Volume & Daylighting: Showcasing the central atrium where the signature magenta staircase serves as both a sculptural anchor and primary wayfinding element. The imagery highlights how extensive overhead glazing is used to flood the core circulation spaces with natural light, reducing reliance on artificial energy.

Immersive Vocational Environments: Documenting the “real-world” simulation spaces that support the new T-Level curriculum. Key areas captured include the full-scale Mock Air Cabin (Fuselage Simulator), Commercial Catering Kitchens, and flexible digital breakout pods.

Materiality & Context: Ground-level architectural studies of the brick and curtain-wall facade, demonstrating the building’s clean, modern aesthetic and its connection to the surrounding Kingsway Campus.
