Dreamscapes
What is better do to at rainy Sunday afternoon then creating some dreamscapes from my stock photography.
Street
I always thought that street photography was nothing but randomly generated snapshots of passing people with occasional mixture of shadows and lights. Now I now how wrong I was. It not only takes quick thinking and fast reaction on ever moving city life but also focus and some bravery. You can't simply seat in bushes wearing your best camouflage clothes waiting for a bird to get in front your lens. No offence to bird photographers but come on guys, it's what you do or I'm missing something? For instance this guy. I understand commitment for the job etc but I'm not sure I get it entirely ;-)
But lets get back to subject of this blog post. Since we're talking about streets full of people who despite CCTV cameras pointing at them from every corner don't necessarily appreciate my lens at them and believe me I know what I'm talking about... The other day this guy threatened to stick my telephoto in to my bum if I don't imminently delete photo of him.
Street photography not only requires lots of focus, sense of composition, quick thinking/running but also courage and relentlessness. But enough writing with my broken English and lets take a look at my results.
Kinga
Most exiting moments in my everyday life is when is time for photo-shoot especially if model who I'm going to work with had not been behind my lens before. My biggest dream is to open my own studio and do that as full time job but for now my living room and my low end gear will have be enough...
Britannia Hotel event
Few photos from last event I had pleasure to photograph at Britannia Hotel in Manchester.
The Dancers
Photography is a still, frozen art while dance is an art of motion. Trying to capture and convey motion by not using any motion can be a real challenge. I like challenges therefore I could not be happier then Kinga and Mike asked me to capture some images for their promo poster.
Studio work
Few shots from last session at my home studio with my beautyfull Aga. Worth noting is that her make-up was just outstanding and that is what benefits those pictures in a big way.
Pistyll Rhaeadr - The waterfall
There wasn't any posts for last few days since I was little bit busy with stuff in life. However this weekend I went with my dear friend Natan to Wales to take photographs of the waterfall with the weirdest name seen in UK so far - Pistyll Rhaeadr. Here are few shot from this trip.
Ghost Town
Some long exposure during the day action. It allows me to remove people form busy streets of Manchester and nicely blur the sky.
More pictures inside this post.
Some I like
It's a random photo I've taken while my late night trip into town during fogy night. Rest of shots were very boring so I'm going to share only this one.
