My Beauty | Day 8
If I had to choose photo of the week that would be certainly the one. Not only that we had a lot fun doing it (I wont go into details ;-) but in spite simple concept it turn out quite satisfying overall. I could probably do better job retouching it but my photoshop skills aren't that good anyway.
Lazy | day 7
I blame weather and lack of sleep that got me today and all I managed to do was this horrible shot through window form my staircase. I'm not even going to post this picture on social media and lets hope no one will see it here...
Cathedral hdr | day 6
There are a lot of HDR pictures around social media sites and people seems to love them. I'm not very big fan but I would make them form time to time anyway.
Day 5 | Smoke & Light
It took good few shots until I got picture that I was happy with. Therefore amount of smoke in my flat was tremendous despite every window already open. In order to create smoke I was planing to use normal cigarettes even though I don't smoke them any more but sacrifice had to be made. Lucky that my girlfriend reminded me about packet of herbal cigarettes (nirdosh) and saved me form harming my thought and lungs. To create colours I used two speedlights with red and blue gels on them placed on each side.
Day 3 | Market street wizard
Sunny Sunday walk for shopping is always a chance for some nice shots. It's also good opportunity for local artist to show of their skills or tricks since is quite busy out there this time. I've seen this guy today... How does he do it? I don't know.
Day 2 | Street photo
I will probably make a lot of those street shots throughout my 365 days photo journey since I live in big city and all I need to do is to move out of my flat and start snapping. It's actually nice for me since I've never had chance/motivation to explore Manchester enough and I'm sure there is a lot good places to see.
365 Project started
I've been thinking about this for a while now and I came to conclusion that is finally time to start it... The idea is to take one "good" photograph every day for next 365 days and whole point of it is to force myself into some consistency with picture making. I love photography but sometimes I find my camera a bit dusty, untouched for days, even for weeks! It's time to change it. Will I make it to the end? I say yes but to be honest this project should be a test of my creativity and willpower.
Here is first shot form type of photography that I never explore before.
Lake Distric Saturday walk
With such a nice weather as we having now it would feel like sin if I would stay at home. Plans where to go to Scotland but unfortunately this long bank holiday weekend will be very busy and most B&B where already fully booked. Decision made... We going to Lake District!
Studio work
Guess shooting my gf in studio environment is only way to practice this kind of photography...
